After the declaration of MHT CET Entrance result, the application process for the MHT CET 2021 counselling was started earlier by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. A massive number of students have applied for admission to the MHT CET Full Time Under Graduate Course in Engineering & Technology, (B.E and B.Tech), Agriculture, Pharmacy and D Pharma, or other courses. Around 1.1 lakh students have registered for MHT CET 2021 Counselling for BE and BTech programs. The state has grown 40% of engineering seats including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering courses. Students who will get their name on the merit list for admission into engineering and technology courses will need to pay the application fee and upload important documents on the department website. Once the merit list is released, students will be given some time, during which they can raise any concerns or file grievances about their Maharashtra Provisional merit list. Candidates who will not get their name on the merit list are advised to wait for the final merit list.

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the rank list, cut-off list. Candidates who will fulfill the required cut-off will be eligible to take admission in the MHT CET engineering and technology courses.
