Kalyanmoy Ganguly, the President of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has said that the Madhyamik 10th result will be released after a board meeting on 20th July 2021. He also said (There will be no merit list this time. Class 10 (Madhyamik) candidates can download the score sheet by logging on to designated websites from 10 am on Tuesday). This year around 12 Lakh students registered for the Madyamic exam 2021. The WB School Education Authorities has designed evaluation criteria for the students of Class 10. All students who have enrolled will be promoted on internal assessment-based evaluation criteria. The Education Department of West Bengal has invented a 50-50 evaluation formula. The scoresheets have been prepared after taking consideration of previous study 9th result and 10th class internal assessment marks. It is now finalized that 50% weightage of 9th final marks and the remaining 50% weightage of 10th internal assessment will be calculated in the result scorecard. If we talk about the previous year’s session more than 10.7lakh students had written class 10th exams, out of which 8,43,305 passed the exam and the pass percentage recorded by the board was 86.34%. The pass percentage of boys in the last year was 89.87% and girls pass percentage was recorded at 83.48%. Eligible candidates can download their score card by entering their Roll Number and Date of birth from 20th July 2021 onwards. As President Kalyanmoy Ganguly said students will not get any merit list from their respective institution, downloaded PDF will be treated as a provisional mark sheet.
