According to the central government order, the exams were cancelled due to the corona pandemic in almost all states of the country. A total of 56,03,813 students registered for UP board हाई स्कूल, इण्टरमीडिएट exams this year’s March 2021 session out of which 26,09,501 students registered for class X and the remaining 29,94,312 students applied for class XII (Arts, Commerce, Science). Exams were not conducted this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic so, there is a big challenge for the UP State Govt. in evaluation. A few days ago Uttar Pradesh board department released the evaluation criteria. Exam results of Inter and Madhyamik will be based upon the pre-study and internal assessment. For twelfth 50% weightage from class 10th marks, 40% weightage from class 11th, and the rest 10% weightage of the marks obtained in pre-board of class 12. In the case of class tenth, 50% weightage of marks obtained in class 9th and 50% of weightage to marks obtained in class 10 pre-board.

Approximately 5.61 million students participated in UP Board high school and intermediate examinations. A total of 33 students had been placed in the top 10 positions in the Class X exam and 11 students had been placed in the top 10 in the Class XII exam in 2020. Ria Jain (Girl) From Uttar Pradesh Baghpat topped in 10th class with 96.67% marks. Abhimanyu Verma (Boy) from UP Barabanki in 2nd spot with 95.83% and Yogesh Pratap Singh (Boy) got the 3rd position with 95.33% marks.
