KSET exam is conducted by the University of Mysore for the recruitment of lectures/ Assistant Professors of the concerned universities and colleges in the Karnataka state. The KSET Mysore exam was held in 11 examination centers at different locations on the same day. Earlier the exam was scheduled to hold in the month of April this year. But due to the covid-19 pandemic, the exam was postponed, it was decided to reschedule the exam. Finally, the exam was conducted successfully on 25th July 2021. In addition, candidates used the same admit card which they have downloaded for the exam scheduled on an earlier date i.e. 11th April 2021. The board authorities have conducted the KSET Mysore by following the covid-19 protocol and social distancing guidelines. After the exam, the provisional answer key has been released. All the candidates who have appeared for the exam must keep their roll number at the time of checking their KSET Exam Result 2021. The expected date of KSET 2021 Result is August 2021. Candidates can check their results by center name and center code also. If we talk about the exam pattern, the exam was conducted in two shifts for two shifts. Both the papers were of different duration. Hence, there both the exam contained multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper-I was conducted from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, while Paper II was conducted at the noontime from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Candidates will get the information regarding the counseling schedule after the exam declaration. As per the scorecard or merit list candidates will be selected for the posts. Reserved candidates will get relaxation in the cut-off list. If we talk about the Eligibility criteria to apply for the KSET exam, candidates must have a master’s degree from a recognized institution and Reserve candidates with 50% minimum marks, and general candidates with 55% minimum marks can apply for the KSET exam.
