GPSC Class 1 2 Prelims Result 2021 Revised
Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) had earlier published Prelims Exam Notification for various civil services posts. Now, the department has announced the Class 1 & 2 Result 2021 through their website portal – gpsc.gujarat.gov.in or Twitter. All those candidates who have submitted the application form for e Advt. No. 26/2020-21 Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination must check the result as it is available now. A total of 6152 candidates are declared provisionally qualified in the examination.

The selection process of Class I & II Civil Services posts will be depending on the cut-off marks. The candidate has to achieve the required cut-off marks if they want to get shortlisted in the cut-off list. The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) will prepare the cut-off marks list as per the candidate’s category i.e. General, OBC, SC/ST, EWS, others. The candidate who meets the category-wise cut off requirement will be eligible for the nomination in the next round which is mains examination.

The result of the Class 1, 2 posts will be declared in the form of an merit list. Candidates who have attended the prelims examination, their selection will be decided by the merit list generated by the Gujarat Public Service Commission OJAS Department. The marks obtained by a candidate in the preliminary test will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit list. Also, the cut off marks will play an important role in deciding whether the candidates is suitable for mains examination or not.
