As per the latest notification, BSEB has started inviting applications for Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) from 9th August 2023. The online application portal and link will be activated from 4:30 pm today. The online registration for the STET exam can be done from 9th August 2023, 4:30 pm to 23rd August 2023.  The Bihar STET notification 2023 has all the important information and instructions about the exam. Bihar School Examination Board has released a notification regarding Bihar STET 2023. Once the direct link to apply for Bihar STET 2023 is activated, we will update the link here. Bihar Board of School Examination has also released the STET Syllabus for Commerce stream. Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility test is for determining candidates’ eligibility for teachers at secondary and higher secondary schools in Bihar. There will be two papers i.e., Paper I and Paper II. Candidates can appear for one or both papers.

The exam duration for each paper will be 150 minutes. The total marks will also be 150 marks, out of which 100 marks for subject-based questions and 50 marks will be for teaching abilities and other abilities.

Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test 2023 Details

As per the Bihar STET Notification 2023, the exam pattern, fee details, and eligibility criteria for each subject is released. However, BSEB has not released the exam dates and exam schedule yet. The application fee for the General, EwS, BC, and OBC is INR 960/- for one paper. Candidates who want to apply for both papers will have to pay INR 1440/-. The application fee for SC, ST, and PwD is INR 760/- for one paper and INR 1,440 for both papers.

General category students will require a minimum of 50% marks to pass the test. The Bihar STET 2023 cutoff for students from BC category is 45.5% and from OBC is 42.5%. The SC, ST, PwD, Women candidates need minimum 40% to pass the exam.
