Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2024-2025 Details
Tamilnadu S.E.T. was conducted in Computer-based test mode. There were 43 subjects for the exam. There were two papers in i.e., Paper I and Paper II. The paper I was general paper, and paper II was a subject-specific paper. According to the TNSET marking scheme, each answer will contain 2 marks. TNSET don’t follow a negative marking policy.
As per the minimum qualifying marks criteria, the general category candidates must obtain at least 40% marks and the reserved category candidates, including ST/ SC/ OBC/ PWD candidates, must obtain at least 35%.
Once earned, the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test Certificate is valid for a lifetime. This simply means that the person who clears the Tamilnadu S.E.T. exam and earns a certificate will not be required to renew the certificate. The certified candidates will be eligible to join as Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu colleges and universities.
