Why 2026 Results are Earlier Than Ever
For the first time in the history of the Rajasthan Board, the Class 10 results are being released before the Class 12 results (which are expected by March 31). This strategic move by the BSER Ajmer aims to align with the new academic calendar starting April 1. By declaring the results on March 24, the board ensures that students can complete their senior secondary admissions and stream selection well before the summer heat intensifies, reducing the administrative burden on schools.
Internal Assessment & Theory Marks
It is important for students to understand that their 2026 scorecard is a combination of two components:
- Theory Examination (80 Marks): Conducted at external centers. Students must secure at least 26 marks (33% of 80) to pass this section.
- Internal Assessment (20 Marks): Submitted by schools based on periodic tests, attendance, and project work. A minimum of 6 marks is required here.
Pro-Tip for Parents: If your child’s result shows “ELG” or “Qualified for Supplementary,” it usually means they cleared one component but fell slightly short in the other. In such cases, the board allows for Scrutiny (Re-evaluation), where answer sheets are re-scanned for totaling errors.
What after the Result?
- Re-evaluation: Students unhappy with their scores can apply for re-checking starting from March 30, 2026.
- Supplementary Exams: For those who missed the passing mark, supplementary exams are tentatively scheduled for May 2026.
RBSE Rechecking & Supplementary Exam 2026
After the result, students can apply for rechecking of they are not satisfied with the result. For rechecking, they will have to fill up the rechecking application form for each subject. A separate fee will be chargeable for each subject. In case, a student cannot obtain the minimum passing marks, he/she will have to sit for supplementary exams. The revaluation and supplementary exam dates will be revealed after the result declaration.
