The airport, managed by the Adani Group and the Airports Authority of India (AAI), is India’s second busiest airport after Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. CSMIA handles nearly 950 flights daily. Between January and August 2025, the airport welcomed approximately 5 million passengers, compared to 4.8 million during the same period in 2024, reflecting a steady rise in air travel demand.
