NHPC Vacancy 2025
NHPC is inviting applications for a total of 361 apprentice posts across three categories. These positions span various trades such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Finance, Law, Human Resource, IT, and NHPC JE Recruitment depending on the apprenticeship type.

NHPC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
The minimum age criteria to apply for NHPC is 18 years, and the maximum age of the candidate must be 30 years. Candidates from backwards categories get relaxations in age criteria as well. The SC/ST applicants get a relaxation of 5 years, OBC (NCL) candidates get a relaxation of 3 years, and the PwBD applicants get 10 years relaxation.
To be eligible to apply for NHPC, candidates must fulfil at least one criterion from the following:
- Graduate Apprentices: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc Engineering), MBA, B.Com, B.A., BPT, LLB, PG Diploma in relevant disciplines.
- The applicant must have completed a Master’s Degree, MBBS, Diploma, Intermediate CA/CMA or its equivalent from a recognised Board/University/Institution.
- Diploma Apprentices: 3-Year Polytechnic Diploma in relevant trades from a recognised institute.
- ITI Apprentices: ITI in respective trade (Electrician, Fitter, Draughtsman, etc.) from NCVT/SCVT recognised institution.
NHPC Stipend & Benefits 2025
As for benefits, all apprentices will receive the Government-certified training completion certificate, opportunity to work in India’s top hydroelectric projects, and experience in a Navratna PSU. The salary range varies from INR 40,000/- to INR 1,80,000/-.
Moreover, the monthly stipend will be paid as per the apprenticeship type, which is as follows:

NHPC Selection Process 2025
As per the NHPC Recruitment 2025 notification PDF, candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in their respective qualifying examinations (ITI/ Diploma/ Graduation).
