Background and Experience

Having more than 3 years Teaching and Research experience with Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, New Delhi and more than 2 years tourism industry experience. First UGC, NET/JRF holder in Tourism from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Research Interest            
Sustainable Tourism, Community Based Tourism and Adventure Tourism.

• Successfully completed Management Development Programme for The Principals/Faculty of IHMs/FCIs/IITTM and the officers of ITDC sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India at Administrative Staff College of India, Bella Vista, Raj Bhavan Road, Khairatabad, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh – 500082 (14th February - 18th February 2011) also includes Study visit to Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore (19th February – 2nd March 2011).

• Successfully completed four weeks online training course (Online Educator Course) organized by The American Hospitality Academy (1st July - 30th July 2010).

• Successfully completed Research Methodology Workshop in Tourism (Level – I) organised by Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Govindpuri, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh (12th July – 16th July 2010).

• Successfully completed eight days Special Skiing Course organised by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali, Himachal Pradesh from 15th March - 22nd March 2010.

• Successfully completed eight days Elementary Skiing Course organised by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali, Himachal Pradesh from 15th March - 22nd March 2009.

• Successfully completed the Faculty Development Programme organized by Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, and sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from 20th June – 29th June 2008 at Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Govindpuri, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.

• Successfully completed ten days Adventure Camp and acquired proficiency in elementary skills required for Rock Climbing, Rappelling, River Crossing, White Water Rafting, Trekking, Jungle Craft, Survival and Leadership organized by Directorate of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (DMAS), Manali, Himachal Pradesh from 26th March -  4th April 2008.
